Claims 9, 19, 24, 27 all seem to delete reference to the "Hansen" type CMBT.
Interestingly claim 8 calls for CMBT consisting of BCZT and that includes at least one other metal element.
So, while several elements are listed in the claims, could it be just one multi-valent metal? Hummmm.
We are living in a wiggly world.
11% of any quantity is a shit ton.

This would/could indicate what?

Permalink Reply by devotEE on April 17, 2012 at 11:27am IDK and IDK. But they didn't say at least two. At least one is a more inclusive statement, so there is no affirmative conclusion. I have inferred that two (or more) would be employed as "donor-acceptor" pairs for increasing the permittivity. Perhaps that is not necessary. Wir werden sehen.

Claim 1 requires Ba, Ca, Ti, and one of Zr, Mn, Y, La, or Nd. Dependent claim 8 requires Ba, Ca, Ti, and Zr; plus one more metal element. This claim will be considered to be 'indefinite' by an examiner. Expect it to be ultimately amended to recite "that includes a least one other metal element as part of the perovskite structure, wherein said metal element is selected from [a list of metal elements].
