Hip Hip Horray. I was in California in 1974 when the first energy crisis hit. It was weird seeing cars in line up with engines running so they wouldn't lose their place in line. Now I hope to witness a spectacular transition of vehicles to all electric. Once the EESU or similar are available cost effectively then the transition should happen fast. Sort of like VHS to DVD.... a trickle at first and then exponential  growth....or CRT displays to LCDs..... or the presence of smart phones or iPads.  Even better is to have stock in the company that might be spearheading the transition. Kind of crazy not to buy some of the stock now that it is so cheap.
