DGD hi,

These guy's almost have it figured out.  They just do not know how to hook it all together.

I do.  I'm getting ready to cut my own prototype soon.

DGD,

I have applied for a Copyright.  I do not have the where-withal to pursue a patent right now anyway, and the gist of my work is essentially the 2D design. I'm planning to get my prototype cut on an Epilog laser by some friends of mine.  I've been investigating a photo etching process. I have done some small experiments in that vein, but my main worry is precision with the photo etching process.  I lost almost all my work when my computer crashed over a year ago.  Ive now reconstructed most of it.  The last layout took a whole weekend to draw up, and was so complex it locked up CorelDrawX3 three or four times. Each time, I had to go back and start over with my last saved work. The vector graphic is more than 90 megabytes. There are eleven fractal iterations.  It was approaching the physical limits of my printer and computer.
