"Well, twice now I have seen a white silver Model S with license plate
Yesterday it was turning left to enter the Stanford Campus at
Does anyone know what Elon Musk's license plate is?
Contrariwise, a point made in several comments on InsideEVs is that most of the Model S servicing and installation of replacement parts has been done under warranty, so customers have not felt the impact of actual prices. With all…"
"2016 Chevrolet Volt Will Be Profitable
Some time back, we had a debate on this forum over whether or not GM made a profit on the Volt. But that was before GM slashed the price by several thousand dollars. I still don't know who was right…"
"Okay, points for Volkswagen: I confess I was not expecting them to exhibit a sense of humor in an ad for EVs. Apparently there has been quite a turnaround in the company's attitude toward EVs. It's only been a year or two since they were…"
"I think all rocketship fans are waiting for that with bated breath! Not to belittle SpaceX's accomplishments-- rocket science is very hard indeed-- but all they have done so far is to go where lots of men, and rocketships, have gone before.…"
"Generally speaking, that shouldn't happen with any car which has a differential-- including the rear wheels on the Tesla Model S. The gearing in the differential will allow one wheel to maintain traction while the other spins. Traction control…"
I looked up traction control and found a Wiki listing but was very dissatisfied with their comments.
Each wheel is equipped with a sensor which senses changes in its speed due to loss of traction.
The sensed speed…"
"From InsideEVs: Op-Ed: 2015 Plug In Sales Predictions For America
Here is the response to the article I posted on InsideEVs:
Let’s look at the growth of (estimated) total annual PEV sales over…"
I have applied for a Copyright. I do not have the where-withal to pursue a patent right now anyway, and the gist of my work is essentially the 2D design. I'm planning to get my prototype cut on an Epilog laser by some friends of mine. I've been investigating a photo etching process. I have done some small experiments in that vein, but my main worry is precision with the photo etching process. I lost almost all my work when my computer crashed over a year ago. Ive now reconstructed most of it. The last layout took a whole weekend to draw up, and was so complex it locked up CorelDrawX3 three or four times. Each time, I had to go back and start over with my last saved work. The vector graphic is more than 90 megabytes. There are eleven fractal iterations. It was approaching the physical limits of my printer and computer.
